Il Palazzetto is located in the old town of Lecce, in a square to which vehicular access is reserved exclusively for residents, very close to the city’s “Movida” nightlife scene but far from the noise. You can park nearby for 60 Euro cents an hour, while the railway station is just 400 metres away.
A pleasant stroll through the charming streets of the old town will take you in a few minutes to the church of “Santa Maria della Luce in San Matteo”, whose splendid baroque façade looks on to the road that leads from Porta San Biagio to Piazza Sant’Oronzo. Porta San Biagio is one of the four city gates (one of which has been demolished) which, together with the imposing defensive walls, once protected the city, while Piazza Sant’Oronzo is the main square in the heart of the old town.
Il Palazzetto is composed of two separate apartments that can be rented for short periods.
